Advice on English books to help my step grand daughter with her English (leddit.danmark.party)

I am not sure if this is the right place to post. I have a step grand daughter who is 9, her English is coming on leaps and bounds and she is doing very well at school(in all subjects). I would like to take her some English reading books when I visit next month and I have no idea of what age range I should be looking at for her. I assume at age range younger than she is as English is a second language but also I don’t want to insult her. Any ideas?

Go with age-appropriate books, even if she might not understand them perfectly. At that age, subject matter is more important than language treatment.
