Hopefully I’ll wake up to 50 medals, tried to help the cause this evening, had a few ok games. Also had a game where all squad members bailed or disconnected, running solo against bots is stressful AF. I extracted but died as the pelican was arriving and couldn’t find the samples 🤦🏻‍♂️ then I did an Easy (level 31 on PS5) and got a network disconnect… decided that was enough HD2 for one night!

Random note: I avoid the site that won’t be named whenever I can, but I do find the player feedback/discussion to be helpful on that sub. Could we get more discussion style Lemmy posts going in this community? Get the communities thoughts on new weapons, builds, tactics or just appreciation for the game. I love the memes, I really do, this game is perfect meme fodder… but a stickied post to just shoot the shit about HD2 would be great!

I play on pc but my friends run on ps5. I feel that they get less disconnects and crashes. Anyone else feel the same, or is this just in my mind? Played yesterday in a group and had gotten like 50 super credits, 5 medals and 20+ samples, only for the game to die on me just before extraction... That was when I felt it was time to head for bed...

I've had mostly good experiences on PC (linux via proton). The only problem I've encountered was rarely I noticed looking around didn't work fully unless I tabbed out and back in when loading into the ship after launching the game.

On PC, I crashed for the first time yesterday, just looking at warbonds on my super destroyer. Overall, the game has been stable for me until that point.

My ps5 teammate crashes about as frequently as I do on PC

In steam, try verifying your game files. Right click > properties > installed files > verify integrity of game files

My PC isn't super beefy, and I experience crashes sometimes. Mostly when the game shifts from the falling pods cutscene to actual gameplay.
