Baking soda and superglue will patch most plastics. Mask off the bit you want to fix with tape, then fill with baking soda and drip superglue on. The reaction creates some heat and vapour, so take care where you do this. I've used this to fix the hanging hole on brooms etc. and it works quite well.
Thanks, I don't have any superglue at the moment but I might give it a try
