I've heard a lot of crazy things about Sweden in terms of metal music, I don't really believe in it much as a lot seems over the top and not that believable, I can just assume it's popular and that's it. Now, is rock really popular? and I mean not only classic rock but also modern rock that covers sub-genres like alternative metal/alt rock etc.

Rock is absolutely popular and there is a huge metal scene, especially considering all the metal bands that has sprung out of Sweden since the 90's.

I don't really get the question though, I think I get a bit confused by the statement that you've heard a lot you don't believe. Is that part of the question? What have you heard that you don't believe?

I understand although there are comments that do not tell me the same thing haha about the other thing it is just a confirmation that I do not believe in everything they say about Sweden it has nothing to do with the question
