Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

What if you remove the YouTube app
Some manufacturers won't let you
Even if you can't uninstall it you can usually "disable" it with the same effect in settings somewhere (that's what I did on my phone, I'm using revanced now)
It's easy with https://github.com/Lorenzoantonelli/TapDebloater/releases/
You can always use ADB.
ADB was the route I was thinking
That's how I took care of it too https://bbbhltz.codeberg.page/2023/05/on-debloating-android-phones/
You can't remove YT in a log of official Android ROMs as it's backed in, not can you disable it...
ADB will let you remove it. Did it to my Pixel
