Why does Germany seem to be getting so many strikes? I live in Czechia and AFAIK we have pretty similar economic policies to you guys yet we almost never have any over here...

Just FYI, the interviewed expert specifically mentions that Germany has rather few strikes compared to other OECD countries.

Oh whoops, that's my bad for not reading the context. I think there happened to be a strike when I was visiting Germany too so that may be what warped my perspective

It's not about economic policies. It's mostly the train drivers that are striking because they're overworked and/or don't get paid enough.
