I was curious about this too. I post every day on !dubstep@lemmy.world with an alt account over there then do all my actual surfing/commenting etc from this account.

The last 2 days when I have checked in over there though I can't see any of my posts. I was thinking of moving away from the shitty world anyway, maybe this will spur me to do it. It is mainly cause I don't know how to actually create a community and haven't bothered to look into it yet cause I'm lazy xD
