Punk Rock

One of the original, and currently largest, punk communities on Lemmy. The purpose of this place should be obvious from the title. Self promotion is ok, but spam is not, so keep it reasonable.

The goal is to help everyone find new tracks from around the world. Post new music, or your old favourites, but hopefully as you browse the group you'll find something you haven't heard before. Think more crate digging than top 40 streaming services.

Where possible please try to link to Bandcamp, so others can support the bands you love.

What's everyone been making of these guys. After years of joking that Fat Wreck bands all sound the same, I didn't expect Fat Mike to jump straight into a hip hop/punk mashup act after NOFX, but I'm digging the album.

The last good thing Fat Wreck Chords released was Less Talk, More Rock by Propagandhi. They peaked as a label in 1996 (I'm half joking...but only half). I would not have expected Fat Mike to join a hip hop group, but this is pretty good. I'm into it.

I really enjoy Get Dead and Direct Hit! On Fat at the minute, but they did have a very generic sound for a while.
