Also, if by any chance he gets convicted prior, he might be the only option not currently in jail.
That too, but the last few years have destroyed any remaining faith I had in our nation's state and federal judicial systems.
If he manages to get disqualified, sure, Haley would be the shoe-in replacement. But getting convicted of any of the other stuff doesn't actually stop him from running.
That would only get more support for him from those who blindly worship him. There's no legal restriction.
