Looking for someone at work to peer-review my code/build. I threw in the old "Please Consider" ad as a bit of fun.
Turns out that nobody under 40 remembers that entire range of Please Consider ads. Not even the sumo wrestlers in the truck. I think that's a bit of a shame. While I'm not huge into advertising in general, those ads were good and I guess you'd say innocent by today's advertising standards.
I can sympathise - I've used "I'll get back to you Barry" a few times to blank stares...
That one would need the right timing and tone. Thankfully, nothing so catastrophic so as to need an "I'll get back to you Barry" ever seems to happen to us.
