got the boxes/blanket over the study window, sealed the place up as much as I can. ACs are both on (one on each end of the house), solar is cranking out juice. Now we play the waiting game.

done! only problem is both toilets are on the western wall, so everytime you gotta use the bathroom you enter a sauna.

A/C got put on at 9 to pre-cool the house. Shutters are down, doors closed, Jeebus take the wheel!!

I had no idea the AC could go that low! Tipping doing so would outstrip what my solar can produce unfortunately.

I'm presuming 9am, not 9 degrees.

My aircon's lowest temp is 18 degrees, although it does have an 8 degree heating setting, designed to be used mostly for air circulation and to keep temperatures above freezing when your main heat soure is a fireplace or similar.
