"that's right little Timmy, back in my day we voted for genocide and when we didn't we were told it was the only ethical choice, because everyone was doing it."
As relevant here as it was there
No one's fucking voting for genocide; not even Biden (whose actions on Gaza are not acceptable) is voting for genocide; say what you want, but he's not telling them to go into Gaza. And the 2024 election is about whether you want America to still be a democracy. A fascist USA helps no one.
Oh good. I was worried our political leadership was killing people.
What kind of democracy only gives you one option on the ballot?
Your only other choice is to not vote. There is no other choice for 2024. Forget about a world that should be, and about how elections should work. You guys didn't care ever and you're paying for it now, so for 2024 these are your choices, this is the bed y'all made. Going forward, work on expanding your choices, but today, sadly this is all you got
Democrats 2024: Forget about a world that should be
It's too late for you to fix shit in this election that you didn't give a fuck about a month ago. As if any of you gave a fuck about Palestine before the news told you to
You can't justify supporting genocide, so you attack those who oppose it.
Nobody opposes it, that's the issue stupid. You have no good choices
People who support genocide can't imagine anyone actually opposing it.
Name which 2024 political candidate opposes it. I'll wait.
You said nobody, now it's "neither person in this set of these two people."
You have a two party system you dummy, you only get the two. Just how y'all like it.
Truth is, you don't oppose genocide, just the Israeli state. If you opposed genocide you would have all been yelling this loud for years about Yemen and China, but you didn't cause you don't actually care unless you're news sources tell you to care or when you can use your pretense as a way to peddle hate against a people you dislike
I oppose genocide. You do nothing but support it.
Lol I do nothing but... Cause you know me. No I just survived an American genocide, one that CNN didn't cover so none of you gave a fuck about. If anything you cheered while your army killed my people. You loved your genocides. I despise your hypocrisy. It's easy to call out the crimes of other nations while ignoring the ones for continue to commit yourself.
I despise you Americans, I wish your country death, and that's on you. And now you cry for the same people you despised a decade ago, while forgetting about all the misery you caused my people.
So... you hate America because they committed genocide, therefore they should continue supporting this genocide. That's exactly as good of a justification for Biden's support for Netanyahu's genocide as all the others I've heard. Which is to say it's utter shit.
We shouldn't be in the genocide business. We should stop.
Now please, tell me I don't care about genocide while you support an ongoing genocide that I oppose.
That's not a choice. If you have to, do a write-in. Not participating is allowing the opposition to win.
If you're doing a write-in, you can also bring your own garbage bin to throw it in afterward. You can still have the smug satisfaction of not being one of the sheeple without wasting somebody else's time as they try to decipher the chickenscratch.
Better than crossing your arms, saying no, and falling to the floor like a toddler.
Functionally equivalent is not better, it ends up the same.
On second thought: A write-in is worse because it potentially costs additional effort not only for the "voter" but, if it ends up being counted, the counter too. Sort of a dick move to risk taking up their time for nothing.
