I'm going to Aldi. What coffee beans should I get for my plunger?

If it helps I like strong cappuccinos and I use the #13 calabrese pods for my Aldi pod machine because the #14 intensio is disgusting.

I ended up with this because there was not much choice.

Solid choice. It's what I get if the international stuff isn't available.

That's good. Serves me right for going on a Monday when stock has not been replenished. I am happy though.

That's my standard.

I guess it depends on what you like, I do like smooth and fruity blends but sometimes a dark one isn't too bad either.

Any of the South American ones. Brazil, Colombia or the special blend. Essentially any of the 1 kg bean bags are good value for money, not the dark roasts though.

Yep I recommend the South American 1kg beans. They have a โ€œluxeโ€ special version in a purple bag right now which is good but not as nice as the Brazil that I usually choose. The roasting date is printed backwards on the side of the packet under the used by date.

Good to know. I shall experiment. Thank you.

The only ones I've tried are the Lazzio Medium beans in the white bag and they are excellent. I can't speak to the fancier looking ones. I should do a trip and pick up a fresh bag actually. I also prefer my coffee a bit stronger and the medium hits just right for me.
