What's water fasting? Not drinking enough water for multiple days?
Only drinking water and not eating.
Probably just only drinking water. AKA a normal fast.
Though to be fair most fasts still allow for other zero calorie drinks, like tea or coffee.
Obviously without milk or sugar or other calorie rich additives to be precise.
Actual coffee, not coffee-flavored beverages.
I've read that an intermittent fast will work with under 100 calories. So a drop of cream and teaspoon of sugar in your coffee is ok.
I decided to fast for Ramadan one year. I'm not religious, I just wondered what it was like. I knew it was dawn to dusk fasting, but didn't know that you can't drink anything either. I did an obstacle race with my son on weekend in 25 degree Celsius weather and it was very, very tough.
Anyway, I'm not sure there is such a thing as "normal" fasting. 😄
Stupid fad where people cycle consuming nothing but water for three days. Intermittent fasting (eg 14hr/day) is a far better approach
It sounds so dangerous. Not eating breakfast or lunch and having a big dinner is one thing, but literally eating nothing for 3 days? Talk to a doctor first.
