I managed to poison myself with (presumably) food somehow. Now I'm going through everything I've eaten on the last week trying to figure out what I could possibly have not cooked right, and hoping that it wasn't any food I've shared

And of course the very worst parts of it hit at 2 in the morning, and very "conveniently" 2 months after someone had the bright idea to stop subsidising 24 hour pharmacies. I even checked to see if any of the servos on uber/doordash had any useful medication, but they didn't

I didn't even end up eating that because I was worried it would've been bad. Then I got sick anyway ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ

Damn. Looks like some deity said to itself, this weekend is Baku's time for tummy upset. Whatever he does or does not do. EDIT: count back 5-7 hours from onset of symptoms and figure out what you were eating then or had recently eaten. That's the culprit. As a rule of thumb it takes 5-7 hours from ingestion to symptoms or longer for dodgy food. Unless you already have digestive issues, which screws up the timing a bit.

Uh oh, that means it was most likely the kare-kare I got from a Filipino shop in Footscray market... It did seem kinda dodgy but I decided to assume it would probably be fine since it was only mid day and it was beef, but thinking back it wasn't exactly hot...

It did taste really good though so I'm almost not mad
