I use premium. It’s great. We can’t have everything for free. Someone has to pay for it.

Well, I'd pay, if the service was worth it. What do you get in return? Your data is still collected, youtubers are still being shat on with arbitrary rules and almost instant demonetization, unlawful DMCA strikes that can doxx you, and dumb features like removing dislikes.

If they improve the customer service and start working WITH creators instead of against them, then I will gladly pay.

That's basically my take. If they decided to make a genuine effort to make the platform better for creators and viewers, I'll reward those efforts with my money. However, their decisions over the past few years are incredibly out of touch with creators and viewers, so I'll continue to partially adblock them and subscribe to small business competitors.

I'm fine with having a multi billion dollar company and idiots who support said company pay for my use of their infrastructure :)
