It's been two days since I originally posted the final name poll, votes have stopped coming in, and the winner is Kibby!
So, everyone, meet Kibby! Crafted by the community. He is ours! β€οΈ
In celebration, I have created a script that changes the default/no avatar (blank) into a randomly selected variant of Kibby! And there are tons, about 25 and more to come.. Thanks for the idea, @sab!
Here is how the script looks in action (sorry for imgur's shit quality lol)
I'd like to say thank you so much to everyone who has given me their time, feedback, insight, and ideas which helped me, together with you all, develop Kibby further into his wonderful finalized version. Especially thank you to @FixedFun who's original design and idea kickstarted this entire process. This was super fun, and I am really happy with how he turned out, and I hope you all are too.

I provided svg and png both with and without gradient, a clean the Adobe Illustrator file, and all of the current Kibby variants!

This is great! I added it to my list of Kbin userscripts :)
Thank you for creating and sharing!
nice, hope you enjoy it!
I think I will, thanks! I've also just posted a small list of Kbin userscripts that I like to spread awareness and added yours as well :)
oh thats awesome! speaking of floating subs list, i made a userstyle to make it prettier! its fully customizable. you can add that too if you find it useful and relevant.
Very cool! I will add it to the thread. Thanks for sharing :)
I just thought of a small improvement that you might want to take into consideration. It's really not a necessity, just a small QoL improvement.
I noticed on a profile page that it selects a random icon for each placeholder. This means it will use different variants of Kibby for each comment, even when multiple of those comments are from the same user. I thought it would be less confusing if it assigns a random Kibby variant to a user upon loading the page, so it is consistent when reading a thread. It doesn't matter if it changes the assigned variant to a different variant when you go to a different page, but having the consistency in a longer comment thread could be helpful.
youre very right, this would be a helpful improvement. ill see what i can do :D
Awesome! :D
