Communities. Not sure what they're called for short, 'coms' or 'comms' doesn't work and 'commies' will turn a lot of folk off.

I vote for commies. It will be a pleasant surprise to people who would intially be turned off by it, mentions in the media would be minimal, and actual commies will be pissed off when they come in surrounded by lefties. It's a win/win imo.
