The 2026 ceremony will feature recognition for achievement in casting, the first competitive award added since 2001

I actually like this idea. Some movies have amazing casting, like the Marvel Avengers or most of Harry Potter. I just hope they don't just give it to the best, most famous actors in a role. I love when movies perfectly fit some no name, not as well known, or previously thought washed up actors in the perfect role.

@WanderingVentra yeah, I think it's a great idea.

The Emmys have them, about time the Oscars did too. Great casting directors like John Papisidera get recognition for their tv work so why not their movie work.
