I saw a post yesterday where someone said something to the effect of "I heard Lemmy will upvote anything here's a can of fucking beans" and I found it kind of funny. Was that actually part of a running joke? I haven't seen any other reference to beans. Before or since.

I believe that post began the joke, the lemmy shitpost community just ran with the bean memes after that.
