  • Brush: Maggard 24mm Synthetic
  • Razor: Blackland Era - Level 3 SB
  • Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
  • Lather: Central Texas Soaps - Cherry Pipe - Soap
  • Post Shave: Chatillon Lux - Weinstrasse - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: House of Mammoth/Declaration Grooming - Cerberus - Liniment

Weinstrasse aftershave has given me frag and/or menthol burn in the past. I used to have the soap and had no problem with it. In general I like to water down CL aftershaves/toners, so I did that today and it seemed to make the frag/menthol burn go away. For now I'll keep it, since I love the scent. I'm willing to alter my application technique if it means I get to keep using it.

I like the Central Texas soap base. It's a tad on the poofy side, but turns really nice when you add a bunch of water to it.
