Hello,

I would like to have my mom come live with me in Sweden from Belgium, she is a European citizen. She unfortunately is unable to work due to her health conditions.

For registration for a personnummer, Skatteverket requires a comprehensive health insurance and an S1 form. I've been searching for private health insurance that covers Sweden only, but all I can find are international and expensive health insurances.

Does anyone know a private health insurance company, which only covers Sweden and is able to provide an S1 form? The cheaper it is, the better.

I'd be more than thankful for your assistance!

We do not have health insurance companies. Such insurances are covered by regular insurance companies.

Some examples : IF , Folksam , Länsförsäkringar , Trygg-hansa . It goes under "personförsäkring" i think. Not a lot of people use them since healthcare is free.

However im not sure if you can become a customer without a swedish personnummer
