Hello,

I would like to have my mom come live with me in Sweden from Belgium, she is a European citizen. She unfortunately is unable to work due to her health conditions.

For registration for a personnummer, Skatteverket requires a comprehensive health insurance and an S1 form. I've been searching for private health insurance that covers Sweden only, but all I can find are international and expensive health insurances.

Does anyone know a private health insurance company, which only covers Sweden and is able to provide an S1 form? The cheaper it is, the better.

I'd be more than thankful for your assistance!

Keep in mind that there are restrictions on her ability to take up residence here:

Economically inactive EU citizens

I don't have any tips on the health insurance part, but you should ask in r/TillSverige which is focused on immigration and travel.

OP, last sentence in the website.

If you are economically inactive but you are joining a family member who is an EU citizen residing legally in a host EU country, you can stay there as their dependant.
