This game has an aesthetic that is very reminiscent of Hollow Knight, I think it's on purpose.
It's 100% on purpose. I wished they payed artists to create something new, not to recreate an existing very popular game. On the other hand, I'm intrigued with coop and the possession mechanic so it might be fun. But who knows if it's a good coop or a frustrating Mario-like coop where the game is actually harder because you keep bumping into each other and fall into a pit as a result.
This company's whole thing is to basically copy other successful games and make their own spin. Same company as Palworld.
Between this and crowsworn, I'm more interested in the latter, as it looks like it has some more polish, smoother animations, really committing to the artstyle
But, honestly, this still looks cute, and I like some of the gimmicks and mechanics it's bringing to the table
