Interesting, the tiny size (5cm x 5cm) and FPC connector for capacitive touch screen make me think of a portable hotspot, but there's no wireless. The support for CAN 2.0 and RS485 make me wonder if that SoC was originally designed in the automotive or aeronautic business.
Seems like a good fit for some of the stuff I do in industrial automation. A lot of people think CAN is just for automotive, but it's used in machine control quite a bit as well (as is RS-485). Most of the PLCs I work with have optional CAN modules.
