The past few weeks I've been trialling toilet paper and these are my findings. It may get graphic.

Aldi's Confidence: my least favourite paper. It's rough and I know people think it's the same as Quilton, I can honestly say it is not. It might be made in the same factory but that stuff is like the tracing paper tickets you used to get in public toilets. My ring hole deserves better.

Quilton: Aussie made and aussie owned. That stuff disintegrates the moment it touches your privates. I don't like picking paper out of my pubes.

Sorbent: Good stuff. It's not as soft as it used to be but still better than the last two I mentioned.

Kleenex: Has to be the winner because it does what it should and it comes in double length now.

I wish I could support Quilton but it's just not as good as Kleenex.

Who Gives a Crap bamboo for ethics etc. Their paper one is ok,but can โ€˜pillโ€™ somewhat

Aldi's confidence is good enough for me, it's almost stopped me going to colesworth entirely. I use it for tissues as well without issue when the hayfever hits.

I tend to pick one up for emergency use only because it's better than using your hand.

These are the reviews we need (genuine)

I tell it how it is. I have no shame. And I love experiments

It's good, places like Lemmy and Reddit seem to be the places where you get honest feedback about how something is

Interesting. I HATE Kleenex. I can't tell you what it is about it, but it just.... irks me something shocking.

Not a fan of the clean ripple texture?

Costco Kirkland stuff is miles ahead of aussie made stuff.

We favour Quilton and don't really find that it falls apart. Sorbent is useless.

Maybe it's in the wiping technique

#1's I blot. #2's I scrub so I think I've got the right technique going. For women at a certain time of month it's important to have absorption otherwise bodily fluids get smeared. It can get messy.

bidet. Seriously. Oh my god that 40 degree period from hell day when you have The Shits and you wish you could just hose the whole undercarriage....YOU CAN

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Ugh. Mathematics says Iโ€™m going to have to deal with the muck on a week long conference in a couple of weeks. So much prefer WFH so hosing down is an option.

[โ€“] Taleya@aussie.zone 3 points 10 months ago

fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that

[โ€“] MeanElevator@aussie.zone 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Thank you for the graphically detailed explanation

Try some give a crap. It's not as plush as some, but it's rugged
