Cool, so give people a safe way to check what they have or be assured of the sources quality control.

There is absolutely no safe amount to ingest

There isn't really room to reconcile the stance of 'this isn't safe - at all' and 'here, test how safe this drug is in this safe place'.

(I know nothing about the drugs themselves, so I have no position on that. Just that I can understand the difficulty for the health department to implement what you're asking for.)

First off that’s a cop, they’re liars not chemists. Erowid has reports from people using this chemical recreationally and while it does mention risks, it seems that it’s safe for many of the users.

But more importantly and what I was getting at is that people would be able to tell if they were taking the somewhat safer GHB or being given dodgy 14B if they had safe access to test these drugs so they know what they’re actually getting.
