Good thing I panicked & spent a heap of coin and time on the watering systems in the last 2 months :(

I will be vindicated broken clock and all that but for now I have no idea if what is in actually will keep shit alive in a dry spell.

Ha this is me too. Just a few weeks ago finished a big four-zone system all done in about 120m of buried 19mm pipe.

Thankfully it's all phone-controllable, so we've just been able to hit 'defer' and not have it come on in the rain... but the defer button has been getting a workout :|

I was going to put in sprinklers etc as I’d planted a lot, but the weather has been most helpful thus far. Was worried about planting early summer due to El Niño.

You are better off buying components and setting up and building your experience in the good times, rather than when shtf and everything is sold out/expensive and people are more desperate :)
