This creator so often just regurgitates corporate talking points to make his videos effectively advertisements and often contains wildly incorrect information
Well sure..? That's because he's talking about products and services from companies and corporations. Talking points are one of the most effective ways to convey information, and educate your audience. Somehow you've mixed up conveying information and sales conversion. For the record, YouTube has policies and guidelines for paid product placements, sponsorships and endorsements.
You're gonna have to fill me in here. I'm not an expert in energy production, manufacturing, physics, etc. What "wildly incorrect information" do you speak of?
Not only energy production and similar things. He's way out of his boots in pretty much every video he produces. I ran into his videos some time ago as an example of someone who doesn't know what they are talking about and just regurgitating PR. Kind of how Unboxing Therapy just downright shills products as great when they are in fact shit.
In the past he talked about hydrogen batteries and all kinds of inventions which pretty much any physicist laughs at but he parrots as if they are savior of the planet and the environment. Just look at his videos on EVs, he shills for Tesla hard core. Praising stats that no one has and were released as PR, while at the same time putting down any other solution out there. Titles of his videos makes it sound as if he is posing the question, but the actual content is clear. He assumes everything company is advertising for their product is true and goes from there to come up with some even more extravagant ideas. For Cybertruck he claimed 500 miles on a charge, it's gonna be a boat and have this or that which normal trucks can't be. Nor can Cybertruck and we now know its range is around 160 miles rather than 500. More to the point just don't buy a fucking truck to go and get latte. Buy a bicycle.
Take this video for example. He starts with saying how wind turbines have a huge space requirement and then shows 1 acre of land needed for a turbine that produces enough electricity for 20 homes, followed by the great idea of smaller turbines that these companies are making that are just downright awesome. Yea you can buy smaller propeller turbines but shhhhh... don't do that. Then they go to talk about how Savonius turbines have atrocious efficiency (~15%) compared to different design which significantly higher efficiency. But the owner of the company is disputing that fact by some bullshit excuse. All while everyone ignores the fact you can get smaller turbine and not need space while producing more electricity.
It's dishonest and shilling for a specific product. Even if the claim that graph was poorly copied the fact remains three-bladed turbine is at least 3-5x more efficient for the same size, meaning producing more electricity. But that is never mentioned, instead this product is presented as a "solution for home wind turbines", which it is not.
