As title suggests, how do I go about stopping my phone from scanning my surroundings for extra devices?

Note: my phone was already connected to my own headphones.

Why is this getting downvoted? I get that it doesn't provide a reasonable solution for most people, but I think they have a point. Bluetooth itself is anything but private or secure, and you should at least disable it while no devices are connected.

OP literally said in the post that they have their own headphones paired. Disabling Bluetooth is an unhelpful suggestion, hence the downvotes.
