Let’s say they don’t create original artwork, and only/mostly use AI generated artwork. May I ask why it matters? It’s a little cringey to see big corporations are using it, but it’s also silly to assume that programmers used to pay for art for personal projects. In the vast majority of cases, they just avoided pursuing projects that required a lot of artwork. The whole “I wrote a cool indie game and I need an artist; I can’t pay you, but I can give you a share of the profit!!!” meme exists for a reason.
The reverse is also true: artists can use AI to cut out the software dev in their own projects. Shouldn’t that be regarded as a good thing? Devs are expensive right now.

Dickface started with the champ crap. I don't care if you think I'm an asshat either. Dickface came into a discussion about AI generated art taking jobs and talked to AI for coding. Then he got pissy so I got pissy right back.
They responded to you saying (emphasis mine), "I’m glad AI is being used to put artists out of work instead of actually bettering the world in meaningful ways. Nice job, tech industry!"
