I've just removed a post that had c*&t in the title. I'm not going to get into specific rules, but I don't want that language in post titles. In comments etc in context, fine. But post titles are displayed to all users without the possibility of being filtered.

Please think of others when posting.

How do posts marked NSFW work? Would it not make sense to require those with swear words or adult content to be marked NSFW. Those that don't wish to see would have it filtered, but it doesn't restrict the freedom of speech of others. Sometimes expletives are appropriate.

Sometimes expletives are appropriate

I think situations where that is the case, civil and respectful discussions do not occur

They're not mutually exclusive, but I would guess there is a trend towards incivility with increased expletives.

However, there is also a use case for venting, for comedy and for absolute dog cunts, being appropriately named.
