Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Hello dear Jerboa using lemmings,

as I usually write my posts in the browser session I noticed this missing feature only recently. I use the sleek "spoiler" function very often to hide text behind a heading which can then be expanded by clicking on the headline. This works perfectly in the browser and allows many formatting options. However, this formatting function is ignored in Jerboa and also in Liftoff thus making it impossible to write spoilers or hidden messages and instead showing the "::: spoiler". This not only looks bad but also makes it impossible for mobile phone users to be warned about spoilers or hidden content.

Since I don't have a Github account I would be happy if someone could open an issue for me.

That exists and it looks like there's a draft. Apparently the Markdown system they're using doesn't support it, so it needs to be built from scratch.

Glad it's been reported. I just experienced the tag not working on Lemmy apps while it works fine on the desktop site and the mobile site.

Great. Now we just need a tag so I can mark this thread as resolved ;)
