I'm more curious why you're taking a meme so seriously.
This particular community has a severe problem with that. Every meme lately is filled with comments like yours just "Um actually...." Might be why this community is dead and no ones posting here.
This is a phenomenon I've observed across Lemmy. This platform has apparently attracted the attention of a subset of humans who are unfamiliar with the concept of jokes or sarcasm.
Ah yes, the good ol’ internet game of “are they a child, a troll, or just autistic?”
Sometimes it’s all three!
I have had this happen though, so there must be something that's "going on" when you get a "wrong password" error followed by "hey that was your old password!". It's happening currently to me at Best Buy, actually!
