In case anybody hasn't seen, our instance updated and this new version of Lemmy has made enabling 2 factor authentication really really easy to set up. Before you had to fuck around with the settings and get a long code, type that out in your auth app, and then get another long code and type it into your account, but now it's just like setting up any other 2fa system: you scan a QR code in your auth app and you're linked!

Also everybody's 2fa has been turned off, so if you previously had it setup you need to do it again

And for anyone who didn't have it, now's a great time to turn it on! I can recommend authy, as it has device sync and backups (so if you break or lose your phone, you can recover your 2fa codes and still log in)
