Very cool! That road always felt excessively wide for the limited traffic it gets. I hope the traffic calming is a success..

With that said, a few things pop in my head looking at the plans..

1- im curious why they are only going across half the viaduct..

2- i appreciate the protected bike lane, but i feel like this change actually makes bicycle movement a bit more confusing here.. specifically around the roundabout.. the jersey barriers seem to really obscure the bike lane’s entry/exit point… i hope they provide clear lane makrings to show the intended bicycle movement

To add onto that, i know theyre just following existing conditions, but this is a prime example of how anytime the road configuration gets even the slightest bit complicated, they consistently just abruptly end the bike lanes.. always found that super frustrating as it is super stressful.

3- the sidewalk here is a multi-use trail with (for me at least) confusing signage.. i wish they would add curb cuts at the ramp & mark the intended HAST path better

You have much of the same concerns I do. I left some comments on the linked map (Share Your Feedback button).

Awesome! Sounds like theyre really counting on the sidewalk multi-use trail in this area.
