No matter how much water I drink, every few years I end up passing one. Docs/urologists tell me there's nothing I can do except drink lots of acidic water and there is a pill that works for some that has lots of side effects. I thank god I've never needed a goddamn stent or have them go in and get it (happens if it's big or gets stuck along the way)

In my >30 years, I've probably passed 5-6 and damn it's the worst, especially when you have a narrow ureter like my left side. Fucking excruciating, even just a 2mm. Biggest I've passed was ~3mm on the other side but they always end up with a trip to the ER no matter how long I try and hold out.

People who have never experienced it just cannot understand the pain, the experience, etc. It's worse still when people judge you for it "oh you must just drink energy drinks all day", it's really annoying because many don't fully believe the genetic side of this shit. No motherfucker I exclusively drink water.
