I wasn't sure if the McLarens were sandbagging in the practice sessions or were just shit. This answers it πŸ˜†

I dropped them out of my fantasy team so we are good!

I've just tuned in, what happened to them? Have they got the setup wrong or something?

[–] Nighed@sffa.community 2 points 1 year ago

They have been slow all weekend. They have been saying it's not going to be their track, but I don't think they expected to be this bad.

Difficulties warming their tires up I think

Who did you cycle in? I left them in as I expect them to still be quick next week

Used the wildcard to completely rejig it. Alonso, leclerc, Albon in.

@Nighed @formula1 I don’t understand F1 fantasy leagues.

[–] Nighed@sffa.community 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How they work, or why people do them?

[–] GuyDudeman@beige.party 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

@Nighed Both. There are so few drivers to swap.

They change it up slightly every year, but currently it's 5 drivers and 2 teams but with a shared budget for them all.

They give points not just on position, but overtaking, fastest pit stop, lap etc. so your not always going for the best position result.

This means your always switching things around as everyone's performance differs a lot track to track (unlike fantasy football etc)
