Just a first post to welcome folks. Hopefully we can get a nice little community going here. I love hammock camping and getting / tinkering with new gear. Not the cheapest hobby, but one could do worse. Anyway, welcome all.

IDK, hammocks can be a cheap hobby (especially if you DIY) but you can definitely get pricey with it if you want

Agreed. I started with a cheap one, then decided I wanted to switch to using it for backpacking. Then decided I wanted an 11-footer. Then needed a tarp. And an underquilt. And then I decided I didn’t want to lug around a sleeping bag, so a top quilt sounded nice. And so it goes…!
