For anyone wondering if the white flutterby they are looking at is in the cabbage destruction gang, I found a guide showing how they are differrent from native butterflies.

And the moths are not pretty.

So the white ones aren't moths but butterflies still equally destructive though?

Yes, that's right. There seem to be mostly the butterflies around me.
