I honestly just looked at all the horror in the world and decided that if a god does exist, they don’t deserve my worship.

Either they are omnipotent and evil, in which case there’s no guarantee listening to them will end well for me anyways, or they’re good and not even close to omnipotent, in which case they aren’t using what power they have effectively enough for me to support them.
