It was wild, I couldn't believe what I saw when I poked my head in, I was so turned off by it I haven't been back. Usually the memes on NCD were nuanced and made fun of a niche aspect about the war, but last time I was there it was this frenzy about murdering palestinians. No jokes, no elaboration, nothing. It felt so unnatural for NCD that I started thinking the comments and posts were astroturfed. Because when I checked NCD here on Lemmy the post felt more in line of what I would expect, funny but not vitriolic.

You're not alone. I'm just now poking my head back in to any of the NCDs because of that.
