MODERATORS

I actually just registered it because it was available but I have my hands full modding /c/drumandbass, /c/jungle and the general lemmy world support community @ /c/support.

So if anyone wants to run this one properly. Let me know.

Not sure, but is it possible to moderate a community if you're on another instance? I'm planning to move :)

I'd prefer a somewhat smaller instance, like the one I'm posting from now, slrpnk.net. I try to look for one that's hosted in Europe, has a decent moderation/federation policy, is aligned with my politics and a decent-yet-not-too-big userbase. Your mileage may vary.

I do notice that the instances aren't perfectly in sync, not sure what's causing it but I do find it a bit grating.

I'm still learning to use this part of the fediverse myself.

Yes it's possible to be a mod even from other instances.

Is it? I thought it was only possible from a local account

You can only create communities on your local instance. But you can mod remote instances for sure.
