The only fantasy is your ongoing sliding scale between "people aren't paying their taxes", "people are intentionally evading taxes", "not paying the exact amount you should have guessed was due via IRS expertise is theft from the government and fuck you", and "no one should ever be mad about being audited and assessed a higher amount despite their best efforts to pay what was due".
It's... next-level.
