Is your point that r/askMen is a hate subreddit? Do you think men shouldn't have a place to talk about men only things?
I don't know that sub specifically. But a lot of they man help a type subs aren't so much about men helping men as much as they are about men who have no ability to reflect on themselves complaining to each other how others, usually women or LGBTQ are the cause for their minability to take responsibility for their own actions.
You are thinking about incel forums. r/AskMen is not that, at all.
You're oh so ironically making some very harsh criticisms about a forum you know nothing about and assuming it's something toxic.
It wasn't a self-help or incel community, it was AskReddit... Answered by male-identifying members.
No. None of the above.
I even said I didn't know that sub specifically. But that's an issue with a lot of the man type spaces.
That and people irrationally feeling attacked for no reason whatsoever.
Never even implied that so it's telling you went the self imposed victim hood route. Just like r/AskMen likes to do.
How else would anyone read this statement?
Calling it irony is absolutely insinuating that AskMen is hateful.
That said, I'm happy to be shown I'm wrong. How did you intend for this comment to be interpreted?
AskMen is hateful, but it's not the only place men can talk about men things. Whatever the hell those are exactly.
@Montagge
Clearly an informed, and nuanced opinion.
