Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.

Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.

Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.

watched 2 videos about gaming fraud on kickstarter - kingdom of elyria and day of dragons.

scummy devs man, after kickstarter, they can still continue to sell even more "perks" and "DLCs".

elyria is the worst, never saw daylight after taking $8,368,023.

buying a game brand new is a gamble already, imagine buying a game before it was made.

The only time you should buy something sight unseen is when it could potentially reward you with the risk you're taking lol.

  • there are so many games on the market atm, if you come back to it 5 years later it's probably selling at 15% of the original RRP, still the same game with ALL DLCs + all bugs fixed + QoL updates if they're nice.

Sadly this is something that will hard to regulate... You can't really just pass a law to enforce things, and you can't trace where the money went.
