Made a chicken stock and then soup. It's simmering away on the stove and I'm about to add "noodles" (really it's broken spaghetti, the only time I break spaghetti! Mum used to do it and I got used to it). Also having lamb cutlets because local butcher had them for reasonable price so I thought why not. Elder doesn't like lamb but will be soothed with home-made chocolate brownie.

I used to beg for unbroken spaghetti. Seriously it takes just a minute to bend it into the pot. No busted up noodles!

Broken spaghetti has no place in my usual spaghetti dishes. Mum used to always break it. I don't know why and I don't think she did either. Probably so dad could shovel it down faster, idk. In my chicken soup it's a bit too long though.
