Should I salvage everything on my seasonal char before next season? (lemmy.world)

If I understand correctly, transmogs are account wide, and seasonal characters are deleted. Is this correct? And if so, would it be a good idea to salvage everything on my to-be-lost seasonal character for transmits?

Iirc D3 will have new seasons. Sure they are going to loop the old seasons, but the seasons will be there.
