As someone who use to work at a restaurant near Tony's house. I never got the jokes about him not being recognized. Like sure he's an old dad now, but he still looks the same
Well it's because half his Twitter posts were about people not recognizing him. Even he had a skateboard. Or when they see his ID says Anthony Hawk.
There was a subreddit for it, so it became a semi known phenomenon /r/dontyouknowimtonyhawk
