Enough Musk Spam
For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.
Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

This is a guy whose cars require using a touch screen interface to open a glove box....
You can’t open the Model S rear doors from the inside if the car isn’t running, either. Everything else aside, when I heard that I knew I would never buy a Tesla. That is a horrifyingly stupid design decision.
There's just sooo many of them. Talking to Tesla owners is like talking to somebody in a cult.
"So what if you need to go through 3 menu items on a touch screen to turn on the windshield wipers manually - you rarely have to do that because they're automatic!"
It's like they don't realize that the car is solving problems nobody had...
They tell people to use the voice control. Personally I absolutely hate using voice controls on anything... it's bad enough to be forced to use menus like that when I call my bank or whatever.
Oh, shit you're right - they do. Like I want to be friggin' yelling at my car when going through a drive-thru to stop the wipers... And here I've been just flicking a small switch like a chump!
They might have fixed this by now, but the glovebox door also had a bonus feature of breaking if you opened it too many times.
